We will begin placing ads from Life Or Meth poster campaigns in our films as well as on our web site. Meth addiction and abuse is an epidemic that has moved beyond just the gay and African American Communities and invaded all walks of life in every corner of the United States and across the globe.

I personally have seen the destruction that meth (Crystal, Tina, Speed) has brought upon the gay community it has changed the face of our community both literally and figuratively with equal wrath of AID's during the 1980's. It has mimicked the appearance in the faces of those who abuse it to that of those with wasting syndrome.

Going out to clubs or bars on the weekend in Los Angeles only 5 years ago was a feast of beauty for the eyes to behold. Now it is a testament to how weathered we have become with twenty something's looking like forty something's

HIV/AID's however did not take away our sense of community, spirit, hope, determination and the vast array of talent the gay community has always been beaming with. All of which meth usage has destroyed sending hardened users into a feeling of hopelessness and despair.

I have lost two boyfriends and many friends to meth related issues and have seen countless acquaintances with great jobs, talent and promising futures end up homeless.

There has been such progress made in the treatment of HIV/AID's; where we have the virus now to a chronic disease and no longer the death warrant it once was. Being POZ and living a long healthy life is a reality. However those who are positive and use crystal meth are sealing their own ill fate no matter what meds they are taking the human body can not fight off the many other often deadly ailments that can arise from being POZ and continuing to do meth.

I realize that no one person or company can change what has befallen our community and this country however to take no action at all is no longer an option. If we get the right message into just one person's life and influence them to never try meth or give them the avenue to find help quitting then it is a worthwhile endeavor.

It is in this spirit that I encourage all film companies as well as all business's to take up the fight to inform their customers that meth is not just a recreational drug it is without exception one of the most destructive influences in our world today.
